We do the same. It all goes on the card each month and paid out each month before the interest kicks in.

We have a points credit card which earns points each time we spend. There is a yearly fee for this, but we always seem to be able to buy something with the points earned worth more that the card fee.

So far, a BBQ, 2xtv, 1xfridge and other assorted smaller household items.

As said, in the meantime each month we earn interest on the savings before we pay the credit card.

One advantage we noticed with this is that at start of the year, you get rates, power & water all at once, yet they have different due dates and power will let you extend without penalty, so we are normally able to get each one into 3 credit card cycles rather than having to pay them in one month.

    Works for us anyway.

    Question

"Managing Credit"?!!..Just had a thought about it, & it's funny how different people are good at different things.
I don't have a worry in the world about managing my credit, while some people on here obviously do. However those same people are absolutely brilliant at making things with their hands, doing all manner of things to their vehicles, whilst I'm absolutely bloody useless!
We all have our strengths & weaknesses I suppose.
    Cheers Pickles.

X2. Me and the Mrs share one card with a 4k limit. On pay day each month the first thing I do is pay it into credit.
