That photo of me (pic 3 post 5) felt like I was leaning a lot further over than I was, a bit of a panic moment for me. A bit of guidance from fellow 4wdrivers and I was out okay. Had a good day.
Thanks for posting the photos LRdan

From where I was standing, which was at the left hand side of the vehicle, I reckon it looked worse than what the pic shows. The LHF wheel to me was scarily high and I had concerns that it might tip.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Was definitely worse than the photo makes it out to be.

    Well that's looking rather ****ed!
I'm guessing the rest of the balls are somewhere on the track...
Did you end up getting a new one, or go for a second hand one?

It sure made a loud bang when it went, as I was standing very close by when it occurred.

Second hand. Having been told by Ritters that they normally don't give problem I figured a genuine SH would probably be better than a $100 Chinese job off eBay.

The SH one also came complete with axle which turned out to be a bonus, as the axle splines were a bit ordinary, as was the axle end, which we suspect could have been caused by driving it 90 odd kays to get it home with all the pieces grinding away at the axle.
