I pulled up for fuel at this servo that was advertising "Diesoleum" for 9 cents a Gallon, but couldn't get any as apparently the driveway attendant had passed away.... 43 years ago! Had a Shop-a-Docket ready to go for my 4 cents off, too!
Next time I'm passing through, I'll phone ahead to check their opening hours. Phone number is on the wall out front; "Phone: 88".

Fuel bowsers should be calibrated every 12months. But it's up to the operator to call in the guys to do it.
Another common one is why 23litres goes into a 20 can.
The biggest rip off here is when 2 servos at One Mile and West Ipswich sell unleaded for $1.42 and the 2 at North Ipswich are selling at $1.62 per litre.

You should be checking its calibration over 10 litres not one so at 10 litres is ten times the cost per litre
