Got the same look in his eyes.

There is enough pics of mine on here,i don't want to bore everyone with more

Anyway, latest on ours, she had the 35cm cut on one underneath side, two weeks ago, took out all the mammary glands, lymph nodes etc.
The other side was done in two stages.

She has had a massive tummy tuck.
Hasn't affected her in the least, still keen to run around all day, like nothing has happened, dogs are certainly bloody tuff.

All the tests on the last lot of removed tumours were benign which is fantastic.

Cost me an arm,leg and both kidneys, but what do you do?

For the last op we took her to a specialist, and they were very good,as they do this type of work all day.

I have a Malamute, wife has a Smithfield x spaniel, both desexed males

So get home the other day and find a desexed male springer in our yard, The back part of the house was open for our dogs. Well this springer jumped into our yard and it has on for young and old,, our two dogs chased this poor springer every where, not vicious but didn't let up either. Just about trashed the garden and the section of the house they could get to. I managed to separate the dogs and took the springer out side the yard and put it on a chain at a kennel, so the stupid thing just jumps back in the yard 3 times while I was shortening the chain. Give up on that idea an took it out to the vet to get its chip read, found the owner and waited for them to come and pick it up. Owner told me it had one of those boundary shock collars but it had escaped 3 times in a week. She then told me when I said it didn't appear to work, yea it does but it has a flat battery. Stupid dog and an even stupider owner
    cheers

No doubt not the dogs fault at all, another beautiful dog, with an owner that has no idea and shouldn't have any pets at all.

I could go on forever about dogs that are mistreated, its a real shame, but happens all the time

On another note, there are not too many dogs that can keep up with a fit springer, they don't have a lot of speed, but their stamina and energy is absolutely amazing. We have friends with working Kelpies, working farm dogs, they can't keep up with our Springer.

    From the dogs perspective -
Is it being treated with respect, is its lifestyle varied and interesting, how is the owner conducting its obedience lessons aka is the owner an authority tyrant, is the owner inconsistent/haphazard in its training or preferably is the owner its best friend and simply using training to help it to have a better and more varied/interesting life experience?

Get it wrong and they can by wilful and difficult/impossible to control but never stupid.

My girl Kiki. Her and her brother are english pointers that were surrendered to the RSPCA. She is deaf but surprisingly was very easy to train.

Wouldn't hearing aids be more appropriate than glasses?

Which ear is listening? Or is it a story for each ear? Clever dog.
    Cheers, Billy.

Mr Carter got a pool from Santa. Late last year as the weather warmed up we noticed that Carter was trying to use his water bucket as a means of cooling down. So we got him some thing a bit larger.

If a cocker spaniel is crossed with a poodle do you get a coodle?
