Honestly, I have no issue with individual cats per se, but cats on a whole are too much of a problem. I would never be cruel to one (or any other animal for that matter),
Imagine if Australia had no cats. You reckon they would be allowed to be imported and kept as pets in domestic homes? Not a chance, given the obvious risk to the natural fauna. In a similar vein, rabbits are illegal to have as pets in Queensland, a move I thoroughly applaud.
Unfortunately, when it comes to cats, the majority spoil it for the minority.
