Cyclists.

Once I was working a barge, when one of the Deck Hands jumped from the bow of the tug and put his foot straight down a gap between the two pods that it was made up of. The result was a compound fracture of both his Tibia and Fibula. I stopped his bleeding and put my favourite sleeping bag over him to reduce the effects of shock. That's respect. I then started joking with him about how he had destroyed my sleeping bag and made us late, amongst other things. until the chopper took him away. That's levity. I have done the same in similar situations on a few occasions now, and it always seems to be beneficial.

Not when the gravity of the situation is so grave, dangerous and drivers of 2+tonne vehicles constantly berate cyclists for getting in their way! Seriously? Just blow em all away?
(PS: John Wayne has always had a serious problem with his alpha-male bad attitude towards anyone who is not actually him, so in that sense yes the video perfectly illustrates the self-centred ****head drivers I'm constantly having to fend off while riding my bike!). I've actually nearly been killed too many times, so it's not funny to me in the context of this thread. I'm over it. You might change your tune if your were in my situation.

Absolutely. While out training, on the LHS of straight open quiet country roads, doing everything legally and still getting close to being side-swiped by ass-hats that think by near on killing you that they can make their point. Interestingly, almost always by 4WD's and utes.

People wouldn't find it so funny if B-doubles start smashing the mirrors off their 4WD's because they're getting in the way.

Perhaps If I spell it out: If everyone was to lighten up a bit and get in touch with their senses of humour, there would be far less agro on the roads.
That applies to both Cyclists and Drivers.

It was humour - plain and simple. I don't think anyone would either think of doing something like this or condone anyone shooting anyone.

It's cyclists stacking thier bikes and some good editing is all. If you don't like it, fine, could it be interpreted as bad taste by some? - probably, but don't make out like it's the end of civilisation because someone thought this up or has a laugh at it.

It has absolutely zero, nothing, nada, zip to do with the drivers versus cyclists that some are making it out to be.

I agree entirely with the comments about drivers should be more courteous to cyclists and learn to be patient, etc that the avid cyclists here have been pedalling (pardon the pun) :D. But you've lost me with this latest tirade sorry.
