The thing is the cyclists lane in the pic I provided was BLOCKED by the White barrier, that means the cyclist failed to merge from his blocked lane into traffic. Apparently that barrier had been set up for several weeks before the accident, so it was not a new thing.
As for a truck waiting behind you? Going uphill ,depending upon the grade ,you might be doing less than 12kmh which at a 50m distance would give you 15-20 seconds to slow or avoid a slow turning courier. I've never seen a courier taking 10-20 seconds to get into a driveway, unless it's a b-double .
Also by now you'd know the courier company, so would have more than 15 seconds to take evasive action, obviously your saying 15seconds isn't enough, the question remains , what is?
