It wasnt a show car finish. MattOriginally posted by DEFENDERZOOK
try washing and polishing the car then see if the coin is still on it.
the finish on the fagna sounds like it might have been rough faded dried paint 8)

[quote=Pedro_The_Swift][quote=DEFENDERZOOK]I did a wool classing course a few years ago. The teacher said he was working in a shed year with and old aboriginal bloke. Every morning he would put a longneck of beer on the old rusted truck (lets say land cruiser for fun) out the back. Then at lunch time, in the heat of the day he would go out and get it and drink it with his lunch. Now thats yucky. mattOriginally Posted by Pedro_The_Swift

Since we're being honest, I'll admit to one or two. A 20l boat tank was on the roof (back left) with other gear and I filled it and the car at Hornsby. Near Taree this mad woman was making crazy gestures. I pulled up and was wondering what she was on about, she didn't stop. After a few minutes inspecting tyres and ropes and stuff there was the boat tank without a cap. Uh oh.....
When I was seventeen I had a Mazda Bongovan. I keft a can of coke (opened) in the headlight well, (cast your mind back to these little vans, slopy nose, rear engine, lots of fun with big 14" wheels at rear!) drove from Noosa to Rockhampton, set up camp at Yeppoon and found the can of coke.
The truth is always stranger than fiction....

Went out at Oran Park (on the dear old Kwaka9) one Sunday helping a mate with his clubman, he won that day, but I left with the keys to his tow car (sorry Michael). Well he did say look after everything, and I did. (No mobile phones then).
Rented a Tarago for a job in Gosford (ex Nth Syd) to take the crew including SWMBO. Look after the keys I said and she did, but she got a ride home wiith the big boss early. The other five of us went to the pub on foot, rang home 2 hours later and said 'still got the keys to the Tarago'?
We'll be married 16 years next Friday 15th, and we have separate and duplicate keys.
Cheers, GQ
In over 16 yrs of driving I can honestly say I have never left the fuel cap behind or the oil filler cap.
However we won't touch on how many times I have managed to lock keys in vehicles, let's just say I know how to get them out of most model proficiently, so much so that i could start an illegal chop shop![]()
