Not hiding in the scrub so much these days unfortunately, since the fire went through there a few years ago it has looked more like the bottom of an open cut mine. From about 32 years ago Donnelly's Creek was my favourite trout-fishing spot but that is just wistful memories now. At least the Department of Scorched Earth could get in there and put their tourist signs on everything that the fire uncovered.
