Thread: Where am I? Competition.

We are north of The Castle (and therefore obviously Corang Peak). We are looking SSE-ish hence the ocean views.

We aren't actually in the old firing range, but nearby.

The only Endrick I can think of is the Endrick River. We're close, but a lot higher.

Google maps isn't a really useful tool in this kind of terrain, but here is my view of where I think you are. Endrick seems to be a district name that just happens to fall on a suitable promontory with wings that appear similar to your picture. Adjacent is Folly Point.

This is what I was thinking.

It's a nice area, lots of caves.

Finding the pass in the middle of the night to get up top is not a great deal of fun... If I was there during the day I could confirm, but alas I wasn't. Either time I have been in the area.

The only other option could possibly be the ridge north of the golden arch. Although can't recall the name, and last time I was there it was very much last light.

I can't recall for certain, but that may be Folly Point in the top left. If it isn't, it's very close.

We are on a distinct, named, geographical feature.

No, but you're close.

It's the next one north from Sturgiss, although not marked on my maps.

Edited to change up to North.

Hmmm, we are directly north of Sturgiss.

It sounds like you are probably in the right spot, but this large feature is named. Want have a guess?
