Bobslandies had to have his dog Tas euthanized this week, he's been sad all week since. Tas was a lovely friendly dog but age was getting to her.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Sorry to hear about the dog. I know how you feel.

On another topic, I see the push to seal the Tanami Road is looking more serious, with a joint NT-WA plan being submitted to the Federal Government.

NT and WA governments submit $680 million proposal to seal the Tanami Road - ABC Rural (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

One of the few downsides of having a great pet.

But you have to remember the good times and move on.

Had to do this as well to a couple of wonderful four legged companions over the years.

Very sorry to hear about that

Keeping in the theme of the thread.
I'd just like to say that I'm excited and looking forward to seeing the new products from JLR in the next few years. I'll miss the old Defender, although I'm sure I'll be okay as I plan on getting one, but I think that you don't create fantastic, innovative vehicles by doing the same thing, or not taking risks.
    So you go JLR.

Not to long ago LPG went up from 60 something cents a litre to 92 cpl,an increase of around 30% overnight.

It's now back to around 65cpl.

They think they have everyone by the short and curlies as has been said.

Just imagine the outcry if petrol or diesel went up 30%

Wasn't the change in LPG because we started to have to pay increased fuel excise (tax) where it was previously excise free or close to it?

Can't see the excise tax being 30%,if it was, seems to have disappeared.

Or was it the excuse to gouge a large slice of profit?
