    It's probably the best, definitely the most efficient but only used in industrial setups due to its toxicity.

    We're using CO2 as well, it's the current refrigerant of choice in low temp supermarket refrigeration but the pressures are scary high !

    Thanks Rick. That could explain the flavour of a piece of fish I had last night. Sight and texture were fine but it tasted like Handyandy.

    Just wait until you get a piece of fish that has been in a cold room running on CO2,now that will test your taste buds...........

    Probably a piece of shark which hadn't been bled or head and gutted upon catch...ammonia build up in the flesh.

    Hmm,i have a good crop of paw paws coming along.Just one tree that turned up by itself.

    Don't know if we will get any,as we have heaps of bats and possums around

    Maybe I will have to tie the dog up to the tree at night once they start to ripen....
