    I feel for you , I recently had double knee replacement done, the waiting time for the nurses was around 20 min's . I soon leared the first sign of any pain to ring for pain killers because the pain would go from level one to level ten in around 5min's, then the pain killers would take around another 20min's to kick in. The best & quickest pain releif was the Iceman, a cool suit they fitted on my knees & pumped ice water through it. Think it made it so num I could not feel anything , worked in around 5min's. Good luck with that knee , sounds like you may need a replacement. I don't regret having mine done it is so good to go all night without the knee pain.
