Hmmm, no substitute for a competent driver. Are they a substitute to incompetent drivers...

and it can only work in autonomous mode if it can see painted white lines on either side.Quote:

This tells the driver that autonomous driving mode is available for use.
That counts out most of the roads I travel on.
