His private plane stopped to get some emergency anti overdose drug medication after a concert last week,he overdosed this time.
They are not saying if they were recreational or prescribed yet.

ah. i knew about the plane stop, and i assumed it was connected to the flu.
he cancelled a few concerts 2 weeks ago due to the flu. or i that a lie too now

Nope, he did have the flu.
The supposed 'shot' he reserved for OD was normally used for an opiate. There may have been a legitimate reason for it though, he was a fairly strictly practicing JW.

well, I'm listening to his music right now.....Seven being the track playing atm, a song I cover myself.

Latest stories say they found nothing unusual when they examined his body. Autopsy to be held.

I don`t know what he was ailing from, but it has been said that his health had been in decline in recent years. So maybe suffering from some illness that he chose not to disclose and it finally got the better of him?
Prince was certainly a great all round musician that will be missed.
