They call part of Gippsland, Victoria's "Riviera" and used to claim it gets more winter sun than Mildura in the far North West of the state. Back in the mid nineties I spent ten days down around Warragul, Neerim, Powelltown, etc. swagging it on a horse trail ride. I never knew the meaning of the word cold until then. I only thawed out about a year or so back. It was during Autumn and it was so cold.
However it is a very beautiful part of the world.
I can fully understand why you are moving up along the east coast.

    Cheers, Mick.

This pub has not changed hands for about 6 years. The bloke doing the youtube is one of the current owners.

This youtube has put Tatura on the map internationally though

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

My wife and I built our camp up in the Top End high country, on an escarpment overlooking a gorge, eucalypt forests and floodplains.

    Dreadful Place. Stay well away.

Funnily enough the first time we went to Denmark we hated it. Now its one of our favourite places in WA. We generally try and get down there at least once a year.
