Anyone think these two images, previously shared by others, may represent a direct correlation? :bigwhistle

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
What a happy guy. I reckon he's ****ed.
Bloody 'ell Ian! Touche! There was me thinking I was the only person in the whole world who had one of those.
Mine was hand painted Khaki. Well you would hand paint, it would be too much trouble to set up a Spray Gun for one truck. I reckon. No idea what the original colour was. It looks like HUMBROL Gloss.
It sits amongst all my other paraphernalia/ephemera on a shelf also next to a S3 109" Hardtop some UK friend of the time gifted me some years ago Supposedly one of two thousand (??) from the Heritage Collection, Gaydon UK. Motor Centre. About 10 " in length. Not a full sized one you understand, that would be silly, it would fall off the shelf as the shelf is ony about 4' long.
There is also a Ship's Copper Masthead Lamp that was supposedly going for scrap until Bower Bird Bee collared it, A miniature, Household Division Drum. A small BA Concord, a NZ B787, a couple of Brass Canon from Stirling Castle UK, some photos of my late RAAF Uncle (KIA) & one of my old Dad in WO2 uniform (not KIA thankfully,) a small framed poem about trees of my old Mum's , a copper Bush Kettle probably made by Railway Apprentices yonks ago, from a Garage sale. framed group photo (Army Style) of self with other 10 Platoon members at Woodside in '56. My first Hand Grenade Pin, minus Grenade. No idea what happened to that, it disappeared suddenly one day in '56. I heard a bang, looked out it wasn't there. Weird that.
A framed b&W photo of Adelaide's main thoroughfare in '36.
A B & W photo of the original Outer Harbour Signal Station built '36 now demolished in the 1970s & replaced by a Concrete Mushroom thing.
Don't laugh I suspect we all have one. The Shelf that is.
That's the top shelf...... now for the next shelf.
