Good point. This has been handled so badly by our politicians. It has been said if no , that is the end of it. If yes? Doesn't mean squat. My opinion? Australia needs a government to lead us into the 21st century, not keep us locked up in the past. Any so called "straight" person who feels threatened by the so called " gay" society, just doesn't feel comfortable in their own sexuality, I reckon. The problem is, " marriage" means so much to older Australians. And to me and my wife. Old fashioned, yes. But perhaps we are on the cusp of a new awakening, and perhaps we can have a treaty with our indigenous Australians, to go with it. OR not.

Maybe yours has been already filled out and posted?
A postal worker got the sack for doing this I heard on my contact grapevine.
Just go out in some streets and check for ones in the gutter and use one of those. It is supposed to be anon.

Apparently the bar code is unique for each person surveyed, so not anon.

Basically if your apart of the internet generation (those who ether embraced the internet when it became first available and before it became a necessity so basically pre smartphone and 56k modems lol or more likely was taught to use it at school and don't know how hard to get information was in pre internet days) you will most likely vote yes if your not you will vote no - yes generalized but that's how i see it.

    Ricey
yep totally agree the amount of married people i see in relationships they hate and despise and making them miserable that are doing it for the kids is only damaging the kids and them self's on what they think a relationship should be.

I don't care who votes what, just get it over with. It won't change my life. In my lifetime I've seen three things that have radically divided our population , the Vietnam War, Global Warming, and this vote. I'm over it. Bring on the next election.

Well, just make sure you vote yes. It won't go away until everyone has equal to rights - so voting no will just ensure this is brought up again at a later date.
