To be fair and even handed, those same people should be calling for Leonardo Da Vinci's artwork to be destroyed.

In Leonardo's case it would have been a social norm.

The casting couch deal was a social norm for a long time.

Yep.
And that is the trouble with recent events. We judge historical events with todays social norms.

As much as that sickens me, what also makes me sick is watching Australian TV, as it is just about always the same actors starring, doesn't matter if it is a cop, law, medical, cowboy, prison, country, etc, show, it's the virtually always the same faces.

Destroying people's work is just an attempt to re-write history, good or bad, it is still part of the historical record.

Sadly, rewriting history is the norm. It is what we are teaching our kids, and our grandkids..

This discussion often falls foul of the Mods, sad as it is.
