    Feel a bit like Google.

I notice no one has named their first purchase of music as a download, so no real young'uns.

Still buying , from new releases , re issues and crate digging at the record fair. , even discogs. Slowly replacing stuff I had on cassette, gave away when I moved here , or stuff I always wanted. For those interested record store day is on April 21 this year. Support your local dealer.

    Not so quick
I was using Napster, Kazaa and Morpheous on a dial-up connection to burn mix CD's back in high school.
Before that, I'd been known to hover around the radio to record the good songs on cassette.
    Not paid for; not applicable.

Santana 'Caravanserai' about 1972. Bought an import version of same in the 1980's then a CD of same in the 1990's.

Saw them live in 76 at Festering Hall, tickets were $6.90.

We didn't have a record player in the house and I didn't start collecting Vinyl until I moved out of home and bought my own stereo. I was given a cassette player for Christmas 1974 along with a couple of fairly ordinary cassettes reflecting my parents musical non - interest. I quickly rectified this by Purchasing "Quatro" by Suzie Quatro.

My first Vinyl was "Pleasure Victim" by Berlin and Madonna's first album purchased whist at block release TAFE in Newcastle.
