It's been done to death already... but... definitely keep the 032av. No contest.
I got a hand-me-down 032av-eq a year ago from my FIL. I already had a 'modern' MS230 bought new over a decade ago (when finding that coin was not easy at all) and it's been great. But I'd keep the thirty-plus year old one in a heartbeat over it. First thing I did was full service and clean, new 20" bar and chain, new dampers, etc. on the old girl. My FIL thought I'd gone a bit mad throwing money and time at it. But good investments are like that, though
I'll have it til I cark it and then my son can have it (if they're still legal...)
