Haven't tried the Sinatra, I bought a bottle of Makers Mark 46 and found it a bit too overpowering even with some ice, I rather like the ordinary Makers Mark though. Dickel is OK, I've got a bottle in the cupboard. If you are doing the bottle shop tastings try and get hold of some Blantons. Very good stuff that fuelled a work trip to NY a couple of years ago, was the only top shelf bourbon that was available at most bars :-)

Saw a bottle of a new Jameson product called Orange whiskey the other day which is an interesting product on a number of levels
well , yesterday I got permission from my son to broach the bottle of Jack Daniels "hooch" that he made for me for fathers day.
yes it does taste "like" JD , very drinkable and very smooth which I believe is due to the "wash" and keeping it below 40 proof.
I'm going to have another taste right now......cheers.
.....only one now
Thought I'd have a scotch and to my dismay there was less than half a nip left in my 18yo Glenfiddich [bawl] After polishing that off I had a little of the Deveron, quite a nice drop and one that is a little obscure
