There are a lot of vested interests that wouldn't want us to know that.

I wonder if the good folk who feel compelled to glue themselves to roads, have given up their consumption of beer, sparkling wine, coke and other carbonated drinks.

That would be doubtful as I doubt that these tossers could be as obnoxious as they are Sober

It’s abundantly clear that the climate change we are only just beginning to experience is not a natural cycle.

And I would have thought that 11,000 scientists would be respected by a society obsessed with scientific fact, over the fake news of profiteering big business.

The modestly desperate protest measures we are seeing now will be nothing compared to the real desperate survival measures yet to come. Heads in the sand is the problem IMO.

My opinions.

Is climate change real? ABSOLUTELY.
Is it caused largely by Humanity? No.
Is it more analogous to natural cycles seen over millennia of warming and cooling? YEP.
Is it influenced even in a very small part, by humans? Perhaps.
Can humanity reverse climate change? No. And if humanity as a whole believed that, it would be the height of arrogance.


I see on the ABC this morning that a paper 'written by 11,000 scientists' has stated climate change is real and we need to act now to reverse it..

Really? A paper with 11,000 authors? Umm, no.

The program then mentioned one person as a 'lead author' which is immediately suspicious, obviously he's speaking on behalf of all these 11,000 scientists who he's contacted for contributions?
Yeah, sure...

Me thinks he's done a search and discovered that there are 11,000 papers which have been written on climate change which propose it is man-made and on the strength of that alone claims to speak on behalf of all...

And some wonder why others are suspicious of 'climate scientists'


I don't know how I'm writing this though.
According to Al Gore's Inconvenient 'TRUTH' I've been underwater and drowned for years by now. So that's how accurate a lot of those papers would have been....

Of course it wasn’t written by 11,000 scientists LOL. It has been endorsed by 11,000 scientists. ...how many do we need before we’ll listen?

Climate scientists warned of this 40 years ago. Human behaviour has not changed at all in response.

We are in a climate emergency at the tipping point of no point of return.
