    Mt Isa is technically the largest city in the world, as the town of Camooweal is a suburb of it. "Mount Isa proudly claims to be the largest city in the world. The argument is that the city extends for 43,188 square kilometres, and that the road from Mount Isa to Camooweal, a distance of 189 km, is the longest city road in the world."

    Just another instance of the inaccuracy of the "local" in local government (from someone whose seat of local government is over 100km from here - but (they don't pretend it is a city).

    I thought the A2 started/finished (just east of) the Curry.
    Highway 1 is all bitumen.
