I buy a ticket very occasionally. Problem the is remembering to hand it over at the counter to see if it won anything. Probably a few weeks later

Last year handed it over and they ran it through the machine once then again. Was asked to come behind the counter. Ran it through again so I could see the screen on the machine that reads the tickets. Said to take a photo of the screen as it had instructions on how to claim. Their experience was this only came up when it was a bigger prize.

Go home and check numbers against those for the week thought the ticket was for but could not see a winner. This was 9 o’clock at night so had to wait until the next day to call the lottery to find out what had won

Next day call them and quote the numbers off the screen had taken a photo of. Excitement level deflated as seems was a glitch and had not won anything

6.5mm I was talking about is the width of the spade terminal, uninsulated, which is the standard size.
    There are smaller sizes.
As for wire size the biggest I have seen is 2.5mm,much larger than that is quite a lot of current to put through a small spade terminal.

On a slightly different gambling topic,SWMBO wandered off to the pokies with $10.00 while we were watching a replay of the ‘89 grand final,at the local watering hole, about two weeks ago.

She comes back crying her eyes out blubbering on about winning the jackpot.
Sure enough she won it,a 5 figure sum.

We still can’t believe it,she wouldn’t have put a cent in them for years,in fact I can’t remember the last time she did.

I had a tidy, little win at a club once. On arriving home, the good woman was standing at the front door, with her hand out. To this day, I am bemused.

She might be getting more than you think, part of the winnings we got, around 30%, were paid in cash.
    The rest was a cheque.

    Floats like a Duck?

    "Beach Trip

A Tesla owner decided to take their Model 3 on a beach trip, which ended with their precious car stranded in the water.
The doomed Tesla was spotted Monday morning sagging morosely in the ocean right off the coastline of Carpinteria, California.
Fortunately, the local sheriff and firefighters found that no one was trapped inside.
Sounds like the owner might've been caught up in Tesla CEO Elon Musk's iffy claims that the still-upcoming Cybertruck can double as a boat, or even his older claims that the Model S can briefly float.
According to the local sheriff's office, as reported by The Tribune, the owner — who, again, is unharmed — drove the Tesla onto the sandy beach (which is illegal) thinking all would be well. And to be fair, it probably was, at least until the tide came in."

I like EVs and note A Mr Tesla has been forced to share charging points that are funded by NSW at last. That would sink some ones boat perhaps

Really? They have no sense of Prioritisation do they? "New curtains or a new fence? "Oh bugger it the fence can wait because the Curtains are on special this week." If the wall goes arse over tit we'll claim that on Insurance & if they don't cough up Paul can work his arse off for another 40 years."

    Seems fair.

    BTW.
I'll let 'er indoors know that you think her Sis could be getting a bit on the side.
