    It wasn't ME!

Hope that as it was BOB you might not might the running post some think are CA fodder

Well done to Bob Emmerson in becoming the first 90-year-old to join the 500 milestone club

Bob used to be a competitive runner until his 70s and after two hip replacements he heard about parkrun and at the ripe old age of 79 he completed his first one!

He said: "My enthusiasm for life is down to parkrun and it has kept me mentally and physically stronger than living a life in my armchair. parkrun has been a marvellous thing, it's kept me going and I've made hundreds of friends."

    Go on- Be A Bob

You could've beat Googs by three years and started the track that he did in 1973.

When you consider what Hammond did with his Opel Kadett, Oliver, which is essentially the same car, why not?

Spotted this while out for a walk. Not seen one over here before. My father found these to be lucrative back in the mid seventies. Would drive north and west from Brisbane going to car yards and buying any could find. Dealers were keen to unload. Only requirement was they had to be the v8. Would ring the details of mileage, colour, trim and manual or auto back to a dealer had arrangements with. Once had a transporter load would pick them up. All would be presold as the demand was there from people who wanted to tow a caravan and the price was right

There used to 4 Commodores wearing Vauxhall badges near me however only one appearing regularly so think they others must have found new homes. One owner I was talking to said they were a good buy as if you looked after it no depreciation over 5 years of ownership due to demand. Similar BMW M5 series of the same vintage has had massive depreciation and questioned if it was a better car

Not seen since pre Covid but there was also a Ford Laser Capri convertible to be seen driving around frequently
