Before I owned firearms I encountered this twice, volunteering for wildlife Victoria we would go out to roos that had been hit by cars and sometimes they where still alive. Both times the police where really over the top yelling and screaming at us to get away from the roo we had covered and been with for the last hour waiting for them. Obviously we're gonna move so you can shoot the thing...
Both times they took 5-6 shots before they confirmed it was dead (which they didn't know how to) I feel like they aren't trained to dispatch animals and don't know how to confirm the kill (poking in the eye). Both times the copper looked fresh out of the academy also.
Cheers

I love the hot weather, hopefully that cold weather will be gone for good
A mate of mine just moved to Tassie, permanently,so he thinks, bloody mad if you ask me,not knocking those that live down that way.
I recon he will be back.
Wattles?
They have been flowering for months, beautiful yellow flowers.

What'll it be next? Heard a sneezeologist on the wireless yesterday, saying that because of how big wattle pollen was, it was unlikely to be making folk sneeze. There are many other, finer pollens, about at the same time as wattle, that are far more likely to be bothering sensitive snozes.
