I get out of my Disco into my Ford, and some time ago into a Scania. For some reason my brain automatically makes the adjustment. This does not happen first go in a car I am unfamiliar with.
I regularly drive my 110 (wipers on the right) and my 2a (indicators on the right.
Somehow, I seem to mostly get the right one.
I have considered moving the indicator lever on the 2a to match the 110, but this would partly obscure the temperature and oil pressure gauges on the subpanel to the right of the main instrument panel. So I have not done so. It is not a big deal, as there is no lever on the left to confuse me in it, and I drive the 110 much more, especially on roads where there are intersections.

Hi,
Yep, Mrs has a Corolla and I often wave the wipers to show that I am about to turn.
Cheers

In my defense, I've owned 17 two series Volvos, multiple Discovery/Range Rover and many trucks, every one with the blinker on the left. I was also concentrating on the mongrel clutch in this car, where everything between disengagement and full engagement, happens in the bottom third of travel.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Ha ha ha! I've just got off the 'phone to my younger brother. He's in his workplace's Tesla and was on leave when staff had the vehicle induction. It took him some time to get it moving and while I was talking to him, it just decided to stop. Luckily, he's in Mackay and traffic not too bad. It was an interesting conversation, to say the least, with the Euro indicators mentioned.
I did ask if he disconnected it before driving off, which brought a moment of silence!![]()
