It's shocking how few Japanese marry, how few married couples have children, and if they do have children it's rarely more than one - the usual explanation is that it's too expensive to have children. And a bizarrely high number of Japanese in their late 20s and early 30s have (reportedly) either never had sex at all or don't have a regular partner.

One of the looming problems for Japan is that Japanese wages are terribly low, to the extent that I know of Japanese who've moved to Australia for the higher salaries. Which is pretty much the reverse of what I did 30 years ago ...

PUTTING a Dog Spike in there would tend to cause a bit of discomfort & indeed, would a railway spike even fit, so I cannot see that happening.?
