I think I can be excused, as I don't take sugar in tea, (or coffee for that matter).

NATO Standard is White and Two is the joke in the Navy (or was). No matter what you asked for you got that on Watch Brew runs. I am repeating myself "Sorry"
Post Navy I was working in a biggish office in Cannignton WA, we shared a brew boat in my area- When my turn I got two litres of milk. I brought two litres in at 6am and went for a run. Came back to be told it was my turn and there was "No Milk" ???
I brought a 2nd 2 litres of Milk. An hour late I as told by a new arrival it was my turn and there was "No Milk" ??????

I have drunk Black No Sugar since then An allegation another two litres was piched which may have contained a packed of laxatives is pure hearsay evidence

My guess is that they all had Black in future.

I suppose it could have been the same creep that put Epsom Salts in the tea at a Church Social yonks ago.

Ian, did you know Ron Glanfield who ran McIntyre Freight Lines road train service to Darwin? Ron said road train drivers came in three classes, operators, drivers, and aimers.

Late 60's -early 70's McIntyre had White 9000's with Detroit 6-71, 238 hp, pulling doubles to Darwin. One of their drivers, tongue in cheek, told me that into a head wind across the Barkly the butterflies would overtake him.

Doug restored a few old jiggers too. Did you know Col Tanzer? Reputedly he could consistantly load the neatest trailers of wool, he worked for McIntyre.

Aaaargh! You've done it again, Ian! The name Col Tanzer is familiar to me and I have no recollection of why!
I don't think it's the 'Removals' side of things either.

At one stage Col was a copper. Quite likely the cause of your familiarity.
