Got dragged down the beach at Hall's Point near Burnie in Tasmazia to look at the cute fairy penguins coming out of the water and up the beach. Lovely. Also got charged by a grumpy Bandicoot.
Get back to camp, into bed and realise the bushes outside are swarming with penguins, squawking and carrying on like a pack of crazed hyenas.
Will you lot shut up - I'm trying to sleep here!

Watch out for Tassie Devils if camped around the Cradle Mtn area.
Helen and I were camped there in a 2 person, dome tent and halfway through the night, two devils decided to argue (or court) just outside our little shelter. Several times Helen's side of our tent was distended, with one, other or both of the protagonists landing on top of her, accompanied by some pretty ferocious snarling from the animals and words of advice from my wife.
Of course, I found the whole situation extremely concerning.

Funny you should say that as we're at a wildlife park near Burnie today and there are a flock (do devils flock?) of devils outside, as I drink my latte in the cafe and stay out of the rain.
