I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

He's like a mafia/crime boss, there is always someone waiting in the wings ready to fill his shoes, should anything happen to him/her.

And why didn't the PM do his 14 days quarantine in some roach infested hotel with crap food and ****ty internet like everyone else??? No one else is allowed to quarantine at home!!

    Ok, except high wealth individuals.
    And celebrities.
    And other Politicians.
And those who have influence over political parties.

Geez, what hope is there for Joe Public.
Yeah. Almost makes one want to get angry. Now this next video has nothing to do with the current situation. But it makes me feel better. Better than getting angry.

This is the kind of thing that does my mental health NO favours.

Regardless of availability or efficiency or .... whatever about a "vaccine", there ARE other avenues to reduce covid risk while we wait for Pollies to sort out supply, and/or for when the Phase 3 Human Trials are.... finished. In a couple of years..

These range from simply optimising Vit D3 by foods or supplements aggressive dietary / lifestyle changes to naturally improve metabolic - and therefore 'Immune System' . Best to have done this Yesterday...

Here's two, and yes, I'm using it. We have a family member who is VERY close to probably/possible live infections and colleagues who ARE exposed...and Father in Law is really in the wrong age bracket...

Or this one, equally effective, from a group of experienced Doctors

And before the flaming starts, one of the Docs has been nominated for this year's Nobel Prize....

PS. Calcifediol is a quick way of lifting Vit D... And VERY useful. (Fauci takes 5,000 IU of D3 / day.)

"Effect of calcifediol treatment and best available therapy versus best available therapy on intensive care unit admission and mortality among patients hospitalized for COVID-19: A pilot randomized clinical study" - PubMed

That should entertain both you and your GP....

That is called Strong Leadership, Chook. Something that "appears" to be lacking in Oz these days but thank goodness Bo Jo is not running our country. Maybe "we are going through a bad patch" as they say in the gossip columns.

Strange how they can do it when the brown stuff etc etc. Can't be an election stunt as Q has just had one but they still wish to look good I suppose.

The poor bloke has been acting & certainly looking a bit frazzled of late. I don't think I would look forward to going to work each day with a bunch of Numbskulls trying to stick a shiv into one's back & arguing the toss with the Opposition barking at you all day. Hang on, I did for years & that is why I decided to become self-employed.

I might change if I was on the same salary & perks that the PM & others are on. Then again I may not.

Thanks for that, but I think I will just get my second dose, wear my mask, practice covid safe practices until things settle down. Oh and listen to music, lots of music.

Not really my cup of tea Bob. This probably describes me better.

That is what we need Bob, they say Music calms the soul although a bit of Morricone would have been nicer but not as stirring.

Heard a lovely piece on ABC FM this am & waited for the presenter to say the title but as luck happened he stumbled over his words (he's Irish you see ) & another track started so I was buggered. Ho Hum. Lovely piece & it brought tears to my eyes. It was at about 0940 CST. But I'll keep an ear out for it. There is not a lot of music that brings tears but this was one that did.
