Qld seems to be following the approach of trying to avoid statewide bans and instead block LGAs.
There is also a border zone defined by Qld as coming down to south of Coffs Harbour.
I believe Qld is closely monitoring sewage testing results.
So far no cases outside of Sydney. Hope that continues.

Yes. The QR codes are just about in every business, our contact tracing teams are first class , they have proved they can work quickly and efficiently. More importantly , most people are taking this very seriously. What worries me is that some one will fly in to Townsville via some regional airport with slack Covid protocols. Our defences are concentrated in the SE corner, the latest scare up Townsville way may have been a blessing in disguise. I have a bad feeling about this especially as the press conferences with Gladys keep feeling like there is panic not far away. The key at the moment may be the rapport the NSW government has with their ethnic community. Let's hope heavy handed police work doesn't turn them against authority.
someone was asking about the R-naught number for the syd delta outbreak. its 2.4 plus/minus 0.9

A message to the boneheads in the Murdoch media trying to undermine Premier Berejiklian: stop it. This is a public health emergency, not another front in your stupid bloody culture war. We must stop the spread to protect jobs, save lives and to spare people from long Covid.
notice how protecting jobs comes before lives/people....
