if you call it nasty, the nasty attitudes are coming from the NSW Govt repeatedly just again this morning, the NSW Health minster says they have a problem in the western suburbs of Sydney and always he seem to mention the the migrants subtly.Quote:

Frankly as long as you get vaccinated I suppose it's a wash, but having the choice why wouldn't I wait a couple of weeks for a better (and ultimately faster) outcome? If I lived in NSW right now and the Pfizer wasn't available then I'd think differently, but I don't.

I was bumped from my vaccine appointment last week due to doses being redirected to Sydney and I live in NSW! It’s outrageous that the failure to prevent gets the preferential treatment while those who seek to prevent are dismissed as not being urgent.
The whole - treat the symptom, not the cause - attitude across this country right now is pathetic.
SEQ is bound to go into a 14 day lockdown. Cant see the Govt dealing with it differently. Cheers
Daughter & son in law & there 5year old twin are in 14 day home isolation after daughter had close contact to infected person when she went for her second Vax, & son in law worked at UQ for the week setting up for UQ Open Day & probably didn't but could have come in contact with the medical student who was the 1st known carrier .[bigsad] We were on our way to see them when we got the call to say we could not visit.
It's going to be fun for them keeping the twins entertained for 14 days & explaining to them why they can't leave home or go to school.
