Basically, except for the small number with genuine medical reasons, the anti-vaxers are going to be excluded from many situations, including border passes, venues and airline tickets, maybe GP surgeries, pharmacies and others because they will be more likely to carry and transmit Covid and be a threat to all of us.
If I ran a business I'd be very cranky if someone who refused to be vaccinated brought Covid in, infected my customers and staff and shut down my business. A vaccine certificate can be saved to a phone and used at the door just as easily as a QR code.

You are missing the understanding in your post (or miscommunication) of how the Vax works.

You can/will still carry and transmit the virus.
You just won’t be likely to snuff it because you have it.

Therefore it’s not going to stop it moving around, just will cause lower loads on the health system.

And on talk back radio today came an interesting observation. With no covid cases at large in SA, there was still huge ramping issues at hospitals.
If we cannot handle daily medical, we have no hope of handling a Covid break-out.

One line in Vic report is chilling and why our play grounds are shut "Professor Sutton has also flagged potential transmission of the virus at a playground.........He said 50 of the state's current active cases were under the age of 10."

The numbers of kids in hospitals from Covid is growing daily. The Next part of that is a few weeks or less away:rulez:

Doesn't that Ramping only apply to Ambulances? I thought that was the problem Mike, not sickness per-say. A separate issue that I hope the Govt & Ambos will come to their senses & come to some agreement quickly. How many months has it been dragging on, about 6 I would guess. I don't think I'd like to be feeling crook & have to wait inside an Ambulance stuck at the RAH on a cold day. Will they run the motor to heat the Patient Section or do they have Cabin Fuel Heaters?

When I took my thumb apart I ended up being placed in a Taxi to the hospital because there were no Ambulances free for 6 hours minimum.

Auckland and Coromandel get a Level 4 Staycation for 7 days and the rest of NZ gets a Level 4 staycation for 3 days. All staycations start tonight.

More will be known tomorrow about the variant and possible source(s). The 58 year old man who tested positive was unvaccinated but had booked for his jab as his age group was now allowed. His wife is fully vaccinated and so far she is negative. They traveled over the weekend to the Coromandel and their activity there was in several tourist type places like cafes, pubs and other locations hence the nationwide lockdown to give contact tracing time to figure who was there and where they are now.

Malaysia continues to record high numbers of covid cases , despite being in nationwide lockdown since May. . Over half the country has had at least one injection. Malaysia started slowly with vaccinations, but now has a higher vaccination rate than Australia. Marginalised communities like Indigenous Malaysians , refugees and the large migrant population were finding it difficult to access vaccination, and over reliance on mass vaccination sites has caused outbreaks of covid.
