Are you suggesting those people are on this forum?
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Well I think that the users think selfishly that it will go into the main sewer and then it is someone else's problem.
Thus the "fatbergs" in London and other sewers.

Our system is based on civil servants - they don’t change every time the party does. It’s when a department doesn’t do its job properly that **** goes south.
I would argue that the heads of departments can be politically influenced, and that influence then filters into some of the senior levels of the hierarchy, and that can hinder the public service. Won't say which department, but we were to release a publication, and a media release with a summary of the most important points. We got told by 'head quarters' that the most significant points should be removed from the media release because those points would cause the public to question the relevant ministers, prior to the upcoming federal election of the time - the publication went out unmolested but the general public don't read those. We were covered by the Secrecy Act and for example could not report suspected child abuse to anyone in the course of our business. We had finished our pay negotiations waiting for another agency to approve it; but that agency kept sitting on it because the government was due to bring through new legislation that would see our negotiated agreement devalued, and our head of department said nothing could be done about the other agency - collusion influenced by politics. Meanwhile our head of department went from $600k to $900k on the basis that all heads of department should be seen to be equally paid - why not bring the $900k down to $600k?

Many of us have cancelled our annual "Pilgrimage" North because of this virus and the risks that we could pose to all the people at roadhouses, towns and campgrounds along the way, So what makes all these arseholes that are doing this so bloody "Special".
They ALL Need to pack up and bugger off home and think about other people for a change
We have put off our road travels this year due to the virus problem and will stay home as much as possible , as we live in More River on Indian Ocean Drive i cant believe the amount of Caravans heading in all directions, the Swmbo says they could all be heading home "yeah right" .

It will be interesting to see what happens at Easter when we usually get overrun with Wood Ducks from the metro area . I really hope the WA Premier is fair dinkum about restricting intrastate travel .

I Never go ANYWHERE over Easter because of all the Bogons and Brats that always infest the beaches and I can't see this year being any different unfortunately.
