Ohh...and a factual side note. This disease also kills the young. In nowhere near the same numbers as the elderly but it does. Many younger people with no comorbidities died in Italy for example.
how about Qantas refusing sick leave to it's stood down workers. Their reason is that there is no work to be sick from. But it means workers on sick leave, and carers leave [ looking after cancer patients, for example] have now lost their entitlements.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

The struggle to keep coronavirus out of remote communities. Part of the difficulty is that the message has to be translated into 17 languages. Has to beg the question, why hasn't that already been done?

This is a big sleeper issue. If a business tries to hibernate to survive this crisis by standing down staff on no pay, then the current Fair Work law says that if the stood down person gets sick, then they can claim sick leave. Say a small business hibernated and then half of its staff got CV19 whilst at home, then the sick leave load back on to business with NO income would kill it quick smart. Many small business owners are VERY worried about this scenario. I hope Qantas sort out a test case for all of us....
