You don't have to take him seriously; we do, but cannot now. He is an absolute tool and he knows this and to his credit he has owned his mess. After his portfolio loss and cabinet demotion, he is a dead-man walking politically. He is not appearing publicly in his capacity. Once the lock down and SARS-CoV-2 issue has subsided he is flipping burgers somewhere. The PM has made it clearly known the only reason he still has his job is his institutional knowledge of the health system in the midst of this health situation.

Can't agree,Ian. The kid has a horse, dogs, chooks, an older brother, (Listed in order of importance) 5 acres to run around on and a heap of adjoining bush land. I don't see why a visit to a beach is necessary, in these times. Perhaps I'm just an old fart.

Every time I see or hear of this, I think of a downwind dispersion of a plume...

I understood from what I read that it was still okay for local residents to go to the beach to exercise, keeping away from other people, but not for outsiders to drive there. That's what's happening on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Here's an interesting little question I'm not sure is covered by the rules:
Is it 'essential' travel to relocate the diamond python I found happily sleeping in our woodbox behind the back shed to a local forest so he can go off to where he belongs?
Meanwhile I've fastened the box so he can't get out. Haven't told the wife yet, as she will just go beserk and insist I execute the snake, which I don't want to do as it is a lovely snake, but we've lost too many chooks already to pythons.

Ballina and Lennox beaches closed now, too.
Too many out and about over the last couple of weekends.

I think this would be essential - and if stopped by police who query the necessity, just hand it to them; I'm sure they'll take it off your hands!
