UK prime minister 'does not have pneumonia'

Boris Johnson does not have pneumonia, Downing Street has said, Andrew Sparrow reports.
Until now ministers and No 10 have refused to give a clear answer to this question. But asked if the PM has been diagnosed with pneumonia, the spokesman at a daily briefing to political journalists said: “That is not the case, no.”

The spokesman said that Johnson was “stable” overnight and “remains in good spirits”. In a statement about his condition in intensive care, the prime minister’s spokesman said:

The prime minister has been stable overnight and remains in good spirits. He is receiving standard oxygen treatment and breathing without any other assistance. He has not required mechanical ventilation or non-invasive respiratory support.

Of course he has pneumonia. He would not be on oxygen otherwise. That is what COVID gives you pneumonia. People that make it to ventilators have systematic hyperinflamation.

It could be worse, you could be being bombed and shot at. SO just get on with it. From HRH. She's still got it. [ not the virus]

Even Republicans concede The Queen nailed it in her coronavirus speech
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Some people continue to amaze me and not in a ' Well, I'll Be' sort of way.
Two days ago, a mother and daughter I know, went to the beach as the 10 year old was bored. Now, I find this a wee bit silly in itself but, the thing that really gets up my nose is the fact that these people live on 5 acres and are always tossing on about their 'Country Lifestyle' on Faecesbook.

Apparently the phrase 'Mum, I'm bored' takes precedence over 'Stay at Home'!

What hypocrites! Unfortunately, my good women has forbade me to raise the issue with the family concerned, as they're 'lations!

Not a big issue as long as they maintained social distancing and I believe within the rules.
Lionel and I managed to move Bluey without encroaching upon anybody's personal 4²metres.

A health check. Testing your sense of humour during lock down. The result will be in the mail.
