I'm listening to a commentary on UK Public health articles about COVID and Vitamin D.
(Testing and surfing my new LINUX laptop installation)

COVID Update – Focus on Vitamin D | Dr. Malcolm Kendrick

The video is near the top of the COMMENTS section. Worth a read, offers a better explanation as to why 'Afro-Americans' are bearing a higher burden of serious COVID effects.

Same bias has been noted - officially - in the UK, in their case "Asians" (we call them Indians) and traditionally fully covered Muslim women.

So, get out in the sun more often !

There really are a lot of idiots around. A couple of weeks ago I was in a queue in a supermarket and despite the markers on the floor and the signs etc there was a bloke standing so close behind me he was basically touching - when I turned to look at him he coughed on me, smirked and said “coronavirus”. The younger me would’ve dropped him.

It isn't tens of thousand dying.
    It is hundreds of thousands.
A few minutes ago on the worldometers site, the total was 313,498 and it is fairly widely acknowledged that the real figure is much higher than that.
