This week started my third month off work because of the Corona virus. I am not ill I just cannot afford to bring it home to my daughter.
Eldest daughter went to school this morning after receiving a negative result for a test on Tuesday. That's why I asked the question about who would go and get tested if they had a sore throat. It was always pretty unlikely that she would be positive but its better to be sure.
It was a conscious effort to repress the "she'll be right" approach and get the test done. I'm not sure that everyone would go if they were in a safe area and had only a small chance of contracting Covid.
