Riddle me this re border closures.
People from NSW cant travel into Qld without a pass (Although I've been going backwards and forward the last two days without being stopped thanks to an A4 piece of paper on the windscreen)
But Qlders can travel into NSW and back again unhindered?
So what's to stop a Qlder taking Covid19 back across the border from what Qlders claim is a virus ravaged south?
It doesn't add up.
If you wanted a border closed for health reasons it should be no travel either direction.
It's a political move, nothing more.
A few were sent off to the queue this morning.
I was trying to see the pass on the Qld plated cars in front but couldn't, but that doesn't mean they weren't on display
The queue tonight at 5 was horrible, I'd hate to be doing that every day.
I was really glad I was heading south.
That's how it is in WA. Can't enter or leave without applying for an exemption, even WA residents.
COVID-19 coronavirus: Travel to WA
You cannot enter Western Australia without an exemption. If you are a Western Australian wishing to return home from domestic travel, before travelling, you will need to apply for an exemption to enter the State.
2024 RRS on the road
2011 D4 3.0 in the drive way
1999 D2 V8, in heaven
1984 RRC, in hell
The queue tonight at 5 was horrible, I'd hate to be doing that every day.
One wonders if it done on purpose so motorists waste fuel & everyone is buying more. More fuel = more GST & Tax.
More in the State Coffers. Don't tell me it hasn't entered Anastacia's & Glads minds either.
Cynical? Moi?
Looks like the WA Health Dept maybe at fault with the ship at Freemantle .
Even a Qld resident that has been to a "Declared Hotspot" is required to undertake 14 days self quarantine on return.
What's a "Declared Hotspot"? Didn't read that far don't need to know at this time. I'm guessing parts of Sydney and Victoria.
There is no eraser on the pencil of life.
