    Australia and NZ are the lucky ones. Elsewhere deaths are rising, especially in poorer countries.

    NZ and Australia's success (so far so good) with this pandemic has little to do with Luck it is Good Management that has kept us safe so far.

    If the NSW and Victorian premiers say its not safe for people to attend racism protests in Sydney and Melbourne tomorrow, then why should the other states open their borders and let visitors infect them?

    Because the risk of cross border infection is small in comparison to the economic losses being closed by border closures, also the state premiers gain more popularity the tougher they seem.

    You must have missed the news about trade and commerce have never been stopped. And Australians are not that silly that they can't make up their own minds , keeping people safe makes anyone popular, you must be thinking of the federal side of things, a la Mutton. [ button? something like that]
