No it isn't. Some at least of the Inuit consider the term offensive, because its meaning is offensive in some Cree languages. And if using the word, the English spelling is usually preferred if writing in English rather than French, even though the word was first used in French.

I looked up Innuit and the results are just about the same for eskimo, another suggested it is an Algonquian name for the people meaning eaters of raw flesh , algonquian meaning one the liguistic stocks of north america, also relating to pre cambrian era , none of which is flattering for the people living in those areas.

The government wants everyone to get tested so they can find the people who are positive. So, I'm helping the cause.
Everyone in the country should be tested immediately, so they can trace the contacts of those who are positive. Then we could really suppress this virus. That's the strategy which worked so well in Taiwan.
Remember that at least 15% of us, maybe a lot more, are positive, but have no symptoms, so the positives without symptoms are giving it to others without even knowing they have it. Not me though, I'm negative.
Refusing to be tested is delaying our recovery from this pandemic. Get tested people! If all 26 million of us had already been tested, we might already have this pandemic beaten, like NZ.
Every person on every worksite should be tested immediately. After all, lots of worksites, including our son's gas mining site, have compulsory blood alcohol testing before workers are allowed to start their shifts, so why not also do a Covid-19 test?
But I warn you, having a swab on a prong shoved up your nostril and rotated will definitely bring tears to your eyes, so be ready to suffer for your country.
