Well, some will be thinking it, I’m going to say it.
Your Grand child is a selfish knob!

Attending such a gathering during a pandemic is self centred rubbish.

Attending a rally for a career criminal, who was resisting arrest, in a country that has NOTHING to do with us is ridiculous. Sure, the death was unwarranted and should be answered for.

Here’s a few things to think about:
More ‘Whites’ die in custody than others
Deaths in custody doesn’t just mean from mistreatment
Nobody protested for the victim when Justine Damond was shot - in fact they protested in support of the Officer.

Here’s a crazy idea - stop doing crime, stop being in custody! That applies to everyone.

The 4 freaks that went on a spree across Whyalla are all indigenous, all have good homes, all know and laugh at officers when caught. And repeat offences within a couple of days. The girl caught trying to get into my vehicle has been arrested 6 times this week.

There is no respect because they know they can play the race card and get out

Mike, I realise it may be a bit risky for the car but what about park it on the butts of the polis Firing range?

A bit pointless as he is banged up anyway.

No one was charged with anything despite 30,000 people attending. Bit of a contrast with Sydney where the cops pepper sprayed 80 people waiting for trains at Central Railway station.

Sounds just as safe as going to the football or to a shopping centre. Shopping centres I've been to up here are very busy, but people are taking precautions.

I read that symptoms are likely to peak about 8 days after infection, so we should know this weekend.

Meanwhile Rose Bay Public School in Sydney is shut down today, the third Sydney school in a month. Victoria has also had a rash of cases. Its no wonder the other states and territories are holding off opening their borders to NSW and Victoria.

I went to the local doctor today and they let us wait inside, rather than wait in the car park, so that's a good sign things are improving.
So there were 30,000 thoughtless self centered ****wits at Brisbane and your grandkid was one of them and if your doctor actually knew of your travel habits since this epidemic started he would definitely make you wait in the carpark.
As for these that got pepper sprayed in the Sydney train station it is HIGHLY doubtful that they were simply waiting for a ****ing train and that is why they copped the spray, So STOP "twisting" the truth Mick.

During the last week - here is WA - there's been news reports of a '...Positive test for COV-19 from someone who attended a rally / gathering the day before...' - on t'other side.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression it took 4 to 15 days for symptoms AND/Or antibodies to appear. ONE day afterwards sounds like mis-information or terribly Bad Luck.

No comment as to whether the person subsequently became unwell, and as the story dried up after a few days.... I suspect not.

The UK figures for COVID mortality are now looking as (un) reliable as the US ones... encouraged to put 'COVID' as the Cause of Death, regardless of co-morbidities such as advanced heart disease etc.

We expect the Yankee ones to be.... elastic. Nursing Homes Shocked at 'Insanely Wrong' CMS Data on COVID-19 | MedPage Today

At the same time, virtually nothing is being reported on advances & improvements in treatment of hospitalized COV patients. - those presenting at ER's with seriously impaired breathing and oxygenation.

A classic advance would be this one :- Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Working Group - Bet you've not heard about it, nor your doctor, or local COVID hospital.

Anybody else notice the "Great Ventilator Panic" has quietly fallen off the agenda ? Replaced with conflicting Expert Opinions as to the value or damage of surgical mask wearing?

I'f I were more cynical, I'd wonder if someone profits or will gain, from keeping the PANIC alive.

On a differant direction, I wonder how seriously the consequences of 'lockdown' were examined by the PTB... It's all very nice to have JobKeeper and JobSeeker payments to keep employees afloat, sort-of, but one day in the not too distant future they'll need to be "re-paid" bia taxes or charges.

Then there is the mental / emotional damage people will be suffering, and sadly some will not do well...

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

    Correct.
Here in WA there's is a continual trickle of 'exempt' persons coming straight in, usually very essential workers such as Software Technicians etc.

I understand they're all closely monitored for COVID. Not every applicant is successful.

Turns out it was a false positive.

NSW Health is reviewing a number of cases with no known contact. They feel there could be quite a few as no current test is fool proof.

Like the Blackwater, Qld case, I reckon it's better to have a false positive than miss them.
