TV broadcasters are exempt from mask rules so deaf viewers can read their lips, but have to keep their distance and wear masks off air.
Last figure I heard was that about 1200 heath care workers in Victoria were sick with C-19.

I've said it before & I will say it yet again.
Mark my words, this will be seen to play a major reason for C-19 Transmission & others. Whether in my time I can't say but rest assured it will. It stands to reason, if you are moving air it will be able to carry stuff. End of.
Speaking of Rocket Scientists.Plus, one doesn't need a Jemmy Bar or Bolt Cutters either. Seems folk can wander in & out at will to suit their moods. What are really needed are the Henry V111 style Dungeon Wall chains... They'll stop them wandering around & getting into strife, especially if they are hung with their feet off the Flagstones a couple of metres.. Could even utilise "Life of Brian" type crucifixes, you know where he sings "Always look on the Bright side of Life"? No? Try this then. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that we have very insecure quarantine hotels...people breaking into and out of said hotels.
After the latest Govt presser about the situation here in NZ. NZ and Auckland's alert levels remain as they are for 12 more days. Auckland at level 3 and the rest of us at Level 2. They feel like they have got to these fairly early and can place a perimeter around the cluster (what ever that means). Time will tell. I was thinking that the North Island was headed to Level 3. It was extra busy out there today so I figure I wasn't the only one thinking that.
Yep, although when listening to the Director of Heath I think he looked fairly comfortable with where things are at and I think if it flares out they have the wherewithal to slide along the levels fairly quickly. I know my workplace has a good management plan in place for handling quick escalations. By years end we will all be pretty good at the transitions i think, those of us still in jobs.
I am looking closely at the large infrastructure projects in the region and dusting off my truck licence. [bigwhistle] There is also a shortage of drivers in the Ag sector too around here so might be compacting silage piles over summer.
Yep those of us driving trucks which service the rural sector won't be out of a job, turns out being a dirty ol truck driver wasn't that bad of a career move after all! And yeah, second that re working for an Ag contractor...might be my part time retirement job one day.
Yes, you were the first here to make that assumption. And you were right. You know what you are about . It's difficult to sort the chaff from the hay, sometimes, with your posts. I have to say, I'm warming to you. Slowly. I see your bright side, with this.
