Unfortunately I think that we're going to see infections go way up again, because for the last few days I've been seeing quite a few smartarses - the usual suspects - not wearing masks and not social distancing.

I am just highlighting that is part of the reason expats cannot get back home - part of that reason is profiteering by the airlines.

Good news .... kind of ... Why

Contrary to earlier studies, a study in Iceland shows antibodies lasting for more than 3 months - but it's not clear that they're protective:

Why "let it rip" is not a good idea .... Africa

Why "letting it rip" is not a good idea:

College Athletes Experienced Heart Damage After COVID-19: Study | The Scientist Magazine(R)

How COVID-19 can damage the brain

The second article illustrates another recently discussed issue - infected patients going on delirious / psychotic rampages and spreading the disease through hospitals:

Africa has not been decimated by COVID-19, which the experts expected it to be - the reasons appear to demographic (largely young populations) and prior exposure to coronaviruses accentuated by, perversely, poor hygiene:

Smarties? Here? Kidding roight? Just that when she speaks she makes it sound like she owns the Govt, her personal gang/Team.
But I do wonder when all this crap dies down one day, whether those who have made that statement about the "Buck stops etc" really meant it. They are only words & easily mouthed in times of stress & negative Public opinion

I should live so long to witness their good intentions.

Edit: turns out Emirates is flying as few as 30 people per flight, so 10% capacity.

Great. No bloody kids under one's feet & kicking seat backs.

Not unless the 10% are all kids.

    Simple explanation:-
ZINC is the 'silver bullet' half of the equation in that it interferes with virus replication. But human cell walls are like certain State Premiers, won't allow the zinc INTO the cell.... the HCQ smuggles it in.
