Just watched that. He sure does come up with some believable stuff SQ & most now bearing fruit. No States no Pack drill. Pretty horrific & corrupt stuff I thought


It appears to fit in with all that the world is going through especially our Sth Eastern State.

Interesting. I have heard another theory that Africa has less international travel so less mobility equals less spread of the virus. No idea if that is right though.

I'll take a shot from the hip and guess their (Local Suth Efricarns) immune systems are stronger and better at ours in the (decadent...) West, plus I suspect the 'Slip, Slop Slap' message has not enjoyed as great succuess there as here.
(For the un-informed, darker skinned folk need more sunlight exposure than we Celts.... which stimulates production of 'vit D', an essential ingredient in Immune system function.

Not only but also, said sunlight benefits cardio vascular health, another risk factor for the vulnerable. The icing on the cake, sunlight - as compared to Victoria's dour weather AND lockdowns - elevates mood, another positive for 'immunity'.

Indeed there is a relatively newly-named branch of the Healing Arts, "Psychoneuroimmunology" that integrates the 'Head / heart & body'

I suspect this (higher National morale) has played a part in Sweden's success, and just as importantly, the populace's confidence and approval of their government....

I came across an expression of this a couple of years ago: despite the evidence provided from Australia, the Swedes - and Volvo - kept insisting that their approach to road safety and the protection of infants was the only valid one. Ever wondered why your Euro car doesn’t have a central Isofix mount? Blame the Swedes.

We will be as "successful" as Sweden when we have 14,829 deaths.

Sweden has 580 deaths per million. We have 33 per million. It might take us a while to achieve their level of "Success".

Significantly higher and their economy has taken just as big a hit, so what was the point?
