Seems to be the way things are going doesn't it. They simply buy the complete Practice.

Although who had ever thought "I want an appointment with Doctor Navy Diver would be adequate.

Ok, I know or think he ain't a Dr, but I couldn't resist the connection
Could be one's name is Muff though, instead of Navy.

    Just sayin'.

This example of frustration... is an interesting read. Nope, not getting into a stoush as to how reliable he/they/Left Wing/Right Wing Press, is, but his choice of targets and how he gets stuck into them is a nice 'diversion' from the usual presentations in our media.
And there's no argument that a majority of journalists and their Editors are 'Technological Imbeciles'. e.g. Ship/boat speeds expressed as "knots per hour" Or a 'Ratio' getting a % sign added to it...

. I reckon that since he's got the background AND some $$$ great toys, he gets to snipe at both extremes of scientific arguments. - Then it morphs into Politics, but hey, he's 'Merican !

I suggest that is miss-pelt SQ. Have always believed it is simply Mercan, from a Yank initially. No really.

A sick day like that always comes with a mandatory certificate from a Dr, and if they don’t present it, they don’t get paid - simple.

So a day at the footy or whatever costs them $700
I believe Pharmacists can also issue those now.

(Actually, came from a previous employer and I use it in Remembrance, a Masochist who had a D2 (personal use) AND a Classic...- for business / 2 tonne 'Plant-Towing' vehicle. Only breakdown was a BOSCH ign. coil.)

It can't be all that incorrect SQ there is an respectable organisation with that spelling. One can even purchase Tee Shirts so emblazoned. Coincidentally there is even one with the name of Rick 130's CLINT Air Handler on it.

I think the Clint Chillers need a merkin! Corona VirusCorona VirusCorona Virus

If a certain supermarket chain keep installing them on their stores I'll run out of electrical tape modifying the name!

It might be cheaper in the long term to clad them with Tee Shirts. Another one could announce "Rick wos 'ere"

What will change at 1am Thursday 1 October 2020

Because of the reduced risk of COVID-19 transmission in northern New South Wales, the following changes have been made regarding the border zone:

    • The New South Wales border zone (PDF) will be extended
    • The Queensland border zone will no longer exist
    • Queensland residents will be able to travel anywhere in the New South Wales border zone for any purpose
    • New South Wales border zone residents will be able to travel anywhere in Queensland for any purpose.

The direction has also been updated to provide a right of entry to people coming to Queensland to respond to an emergency energy, drinking water, sewerage, liquid fuel, resources or telecommunications event.

.Border restrictions (1 October 2020) | Health and wellbeing | Queensland Government
And Qld says it will lift restrictions on NSW when NSW has 28 days of community transmission - yet Qld cannot even meet that requirement itself - maybe it is time Qld got with the program of being cautious but not ridiculous. Qld should apply its own rules to itself and lock itself down until they have 28 days of no community transmission - they are starting to get a bit worried though, as they are going to be left behind when limited travel between the States opens up and also possibly with Singapore and NZ.
