Who would glibly sign off the mass vaccination of millions of people unless they were convinced all the precautions had been taken to minimise the chance of dangerous side effects and getting your ass sued? I wouldn't.

I reckon we'll be doing well if we get it widely available before Christmas 2021.
    Optimist...

ScoMo has made it clear he's prepared to do whatever it takes to get everyone injected when a covid becomes available. (Note, he didn't say SAFE ...Never mind "efficacious) I'll stick my neck out and suggest a variant of 'No Jab/no pay' will be used to "encourage" us... like no jab = NO Age-Pension / Job-Seeker & Keeper.

Chances are this "vaccine" will get the same - or GREATER - protections than vaccines currently enjoy... that is, NO come-back. Or to put it another way, vaccine manufacturers and their agents are already, legislatively IMMUNE to any side-effect such as being held responsible or liable or being sued.
Not only is their possible lethality protected, the same applies to their alleged effectiveness.

Not just in the USA where they have special "court" to (deter...) deal with vaccine injury claims, I understand this approach is duplicated world-wide. - For traditional vaccines as well as currently developing ones...

That'll make them feel a lot better. Not.

In a normal process you would be totally correct.

However, the vaccine will be in production so that at the end of Stage 3 it will be available if successful. Regulatory approval would normally take a long time but subject to the results of Stage 3 will be given immediate approval.

So at the end of a successful Stage 3 the vaccine will be ready to go - maybe not for the general populace but certainly for critical and vulnerable members of society with the rest after these have been done.

What happened to the vaccine that the Russians developed a few months and was introduced - based on current increases in that country it is either not working or Putin's family are keeping it inhouse.

I'd take Dr Anthony Fauci's idea as reasonable and a pat on the back for us "Top White House coronavirus adviser Anthony Fauci has praised Victoria's attitude towards mask-wearing, saying it has been "painful" to see the issue become politicised in the United States."

Politics, Religion and Science . I think Galileo Galilei was close to being hung drawn and quartered for observing the world is not flat? He did have a few other smart ideas as well

You cannot teach a man anything; you can only help him find it within himself.

I really like that. Shakespeare? James? Yeah, I reckon that is a nice saying.

    Thanks whoever.
